Open Kitchen

Based in the heart of vibrant Hoxton, the Open Kitchen is the training restaurant for the London City Hospitality Centre (LCHC). All students prepare and serve food and drinks as part of their vocational studies. The London City Hospitality Centre (LCHC) is a partnership initiative of Hackney Community College, the London Development Agency, the Worshipful Company of Cooks and employers.

Our menus are created with the local community in mind and consist of locally sourced seasonal produce. Our cookery classes are delivered by our trainee chefs and reflect their culture and their passion to share their recipes with you. Open Kitchen is more than just a training restaurant, it celebrates the diversity of our provision and put our learners centre stage.
